Signing a cooperation agreement between the Lebanese Olympic Committee and The Cyprus Olympic Committee….
The Lebanese Olympic Committee, represented by Vice-President Jacques Tamer, and the Cyprus Olympic Committee, represented by Secretary-General Andreas Giorgio, and in the presence of the board member of Cyprus Olympic Committee, President of the Cyprus Archery Federation Andreas Theofylacto, signed a cooperation agreement at the Cyprus Olympic building in Nicosia. The agreement includes many titles, most notably:
1: Exchanging visits of sports missions by sports federations in both countries, including coaches and specialists in the field of physical culture.
2: Sending invitations to male and female players to participate in international competitions and sporting events that are held in both countries.
3- Exchanging invitations to participate in meetings, conferences and workshops in the field of physical culture that are organized in both countries.
4 – Cooperation in the field of exchanging experiences on various programs, including sports for the disabled, sports medicine, anti-doping and sports management science.
5 – Unification of positions on the part of the two countries regarding external benefits and international sporting .
The signing ceremony of the agreement was preceded by a speech from the Vice-President of the Lebanese Olympic Committee, Jacques Tamer, in which he expressed his great pride in signing the agreement between the Lebanese Olympic and the Cypriot Olympics. This step was noted, noting the role of the Cypriot Olympic Secretary-General for his interest and support, hoping for continued communication and partnership. For his part, Giorgio thanked Tamer for his tireless efforts to sign the agreement, stressing work for more cooperation between the two friendly countries, Cyprus and Lebanon. It should be noted that the validity of the agreement is for a period of 4 years, subject to renewal with the consent of both parties.
